MS TCDC Graduates ready to serve Africa with Discipline, Ethics and Integrity
On Friday 13th July 2018 at MS TCDC grounds, staff, Trainers, parents witnessed the 11th Graduation which awarded 13 Bachelor of Arts in Governance and Development graduates and 1 Diploma in Governance and Development graduate. Speeches and blessing were addressed by the guest of honor Dr. Likwelile, the Chairman for MS TCDC Partnership Board and MSTCDC Principal Mr. Ezra Mbogori. To honor the event there was also representative from other institutions like the, NACTE Representative and Vice Chancellor from different nearby Universities and Associates and Trainers from different places.
Speaking on behalf of the graduating class, the student’s presidents Clementina Dakay Burra addressed the congregation and hailed on the unique way that trainings were delivered through different methodologies and empowering trainers that helped them through the three years. “The center is one of the best learning facilities and environment in Africa. We have acquired knowledge and skills that we shall use in different places because the skills we received at TCDC are very professional and practical.” She also continued.
“We recommend that MS TCDC should diversify its degree types of Programme that will increase participants/students”. The student’s president concluded as she hand over her speech to the guest of honor.
On the other part, MS TCDC Principal Mr. Ezra Mbogori addressed the guests through his speech saying,
“TCDC want to be recognized a having a special focus Africa and Africa development. This is not to say we abandon making the contribution where we were able to but we think there are first responsibility to the Africa and Africa continent” and he continued giving his appreciations to the guest by saying that,
“On behalf of MS TCDC, we would like to thank you all including NACTE and TCU for monitoring our Programme and for their confidence they have shown in what we do her at MS TCDC regarding the quality of the training were able to provide”.
Addressing the graduates the Guest of honor Mr. Likwelile highlighted out “the degree you get will enable you to get employment for yourself and even employ others and therefore widen the scope opportunities to get yourself engaged productively.”
He continued “education acquired through degree should distinguish discipline, ethics and integrity to every one of you”.
The 11th graduation marks the second owned degree graduation offered by MS TCDC which is accredited locally by NACTE and recognized by TCU. Winding up the occasion parents and guardians were encouraged to advice their families to enroll to MS TCDC academic program including MSc in Governance and Leadership which also relevant for the graduates.
