Call for Expressions of Interest: ICT and Learning Environment Auditor
In the coming months, MS TCDC wants to uplift its capability, gain “fit for purpose” and be popularly known as the go-to place for large scale online learning and other forms of digital/virtual engagements. Given impeccable internet and capability for state-of-the-art live streaming capability, MS TCDC can engage in thought-after internet-mediated convenings such as social dialogues, debates, conferencing and on-demand webinars for technology-enhanced experiences that stimulate learning and networking for our partners with a greater focus on trendy African governance, leadership and development imperatives while plugging into global demands and emerging issues. Such ambition will require a modern learning environment with a flexible and agile physical setup that will accommodate both face-to-face and satellite engagements.
Suggested solutions may include networked computers, printers, interactive whiteboards, document cameras, multitouch digital displays, projectors and even microphone lanyards and other high impact tools such as constant access to connectivity all around campus.
The Consultant is expected to have:
♦Evidence of understanding and handling similar or related operations such as those currently at TCDC and those described in the terms of reference as required for the future.
♦Demonstrated experience working in a learning institution, handling modern learning, conferencing equipment with proven knowledge of modern technology and equipment.
♦5 years of experience with Hardware and software configuration for the internet.
♦sound and visual infrastructure; some knowledge and experience with Information Security.
♦Degree in computer science or a related field (not compulsory but is an added advantage).
♦Professional certification (e.g. CCNS, CISSP, MCSE, CISA) is a plus.
♦Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills for complex multipurpose systems.
♦Previous experience with IT infrastructure and software systems assessment.
