Internship Overview
Are you passionate about youth development and eager to gain practical experience while making a positive impact in your community through reporting, communication, storytelling, and mobilization.
Join the Youth Hub Arusha, an MS TCDC initiative that empowers youth through skills development and advocacy. Launched on 11 November 2021, our Hub is dedicated to supporting young people in making a difference in their communities and beyond.
As an intern, you'll engage in projects that promote youth empowerment, leadership, and community action. Gain valuable experience, build your network, and contribute to impactful initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Youth Hub Internship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Age: Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years old.
- Education: Currently/recently graduated from college, or university.
- Skills: Strong communication and teamwork skills. Demonstrate creativity and ability to integrate innovative approaches for youth development
- Hands-on knowledge in Research, documentation and reporting for youth towards sustainable development. Additional skills such as social media management, project coordination, or digital content creation are a plus.
- Availability: Must be available for the full duration of the internship, with a commitment of 7:30 – 4:30 with 5% of travels.
- Passion for Youth Empowerment: Candidates should demonstrate an interest in community work, youth development, or leadership.
- Residency: Applicants must be residents of Arusha Region.
- Legal Requirements: Must meet any legal requirements for work, including work permits or background checks if necessary.
