Mentoring Young People to Become Transformational Leaders
Bridging the Youth Leadership Skills Gap
The EAC Youth Fellowship is a mentorship program designed to empower East African youth to actively engage in the leadership and economic opportunities created by regional integration within the East African Community (EAC) and beyond, at local, national, and regional levels. The program focuses on developing leadership skills, particularly in the public, private, and civil society sectors.
The fellowship is offered in a hybrid format, combining both virtual and in-person sessions.
The Lead(H)er Fellowship is designed to support young women's leadership in Politics, Economics/Business, and Peace and Security. It aims to nurture their skills and aspirations in these fields, providing opportunities for growth and impact at local and regional levels. The fellowship focuses on creating a safe space for young women to learn, connect and get mentored.
The fellowship is a collaborative effort between YouLead Africa, Plan International, and the African Union Office of the Youth Envoy.
