Our alumnus, Junior Kavishe, reflects on his journey as a student pursuing the Bachelor of Arts in Governance and Development.
Three years represent more than just a passage of time when completing a degree program. At MS TCDC, they symbolise a profound journey of personal growth, self-discovery and purpose. For Junior Kavishe, a Bachelor of Arts in Governance and Development alumnus, Class of 2024, these years were nothing short of transformational.
As a young aspiring leader, my journey at MS TCDC has been a shot od dream. As a Bachelor of Arts in Governance and Development student my experience has been one of growth, self discovery and transformation.
Throughout his studies, Junior did not just absorb knowledge in the classroom, he brought it to life. As a student leader, he actively engaged in campus life, contributing to leadership programmes such as the Youth Hub and the YouLead Summit and various national and international conferences held on campus. These opportunities allowed him to apply what he learned hands-on, shaping both his leadership style and experience.
One thing MS TCDC taught me is that effort is a new talent, a lesson that pushed me to embrace every opportunity this pace offered. I feel so fortunate to be one of many young leaders shaped by this place.
At MS TCDC, our students are immersed in a vibrant, multicultural environment with access to workshops, events and dialogue spaces with thousands of participants from across the globe that we host, which helps them to network, build a community and gain global perspectives.
